Hi Helen, Welcome to the list :) The wisdom is that new subscribers have a random waiting period before their posts go to non-moderated post setting. (Safety) we have quite a bit of diversity on this list including young folks and we do everything to keep them from seeing things that might not be age appropriate and so on. Although as most young folks, they probably find it on their own........... Just not here :)
