Have one little old Maltese girl who is terrified of doors closing on her. After seeing and hearing the people who turned her over to me; I have no doubt that perhaps she was slammed in the door a few times. One day we had guests and Mopsy wandered by; my husband casually remarked; " Oh, that is what we mop the floor with". We take them out on leash with sandwich bags in pockets. Dog assumes position, drops load, and human moves dog to one side and putting bag on hand, reaches down and picks up log. Stands up and removes bag from hand and turns it other side out. When I reached to him the little monster went to the other side of me...ran through the doorway and into the house. I didn't know for sure if he went upstairs or downstairs. Upstairs it was...to the bedrooms. I can't find what he did with it. Grrrrrrr! Since the day I got him, he has hidden bones, treats, even toys. He hids things VERY well. I guess this probably means a trip to the Vet tomorrow too....I'm guessing he must have some kind of definciency....maybe he needs some kind of vitamine. (I hope it is in my head but now I keep thinking I am smelling it) ANY IDEAS ANYONE? What he might need or if this means there is something really wrong with him.
