Hi Gayle. We had a similar problem with Racoons. They attacked our female turkey also who was a pet. They didn't kill her but wounded her. We tried to clean the wound and save her but she got infected with those ugly maggots so we had to put her down. She was a sweet turkey too. Now our male is lonely. This happened to us last year. I know what you mean because our turkeys were just pets and they are actually pretty cool and friendly birds. They'd follow my hubby around the orchard like the dogs do. Craig also trapped them and took to the mts. We haven't had a big problem with them this year. Hope your troubles go away too. Karen

I am all for it since they got my wonderful lady turkey. She was such a sweetie and I can only imagine how scared she was. And to think I used to love raccoons. -------Original Message------- From:capnray Date: 7/13/2012 6:22:26 PM To:[email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: [eskiepeople:19085] Non AE and UH OH While reading mail, the screen went blank. I suspected a thunderstorm in the neighborhood. I fired the laptop, found nothing close on radar, so I rebooted this box. OK, it is Friday night, we are in drought wrought farm country, possibly a farmer with one too many hit a pole. However, Sam and Daisy were doing "lovey-kissey" near the power strips, LOL! Danged raccoons raided my sweet corn plot last night, I'm really ticked about that, gonna dump all the water I put out for wildlife, they can blame the 'coons. They got every ear and not one had the sense to eat a tomato or bean to balance their diet, I hope they get diarrhea. Angel Quinn is the picture, I really miss him. Saving one dog will not change the world, but it will change the world for that one dog. imissasner Sent from the research computer. 2 + 2 = what it you want it to be! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Eskiepeople" group.
