OK I tried again. I began a new topic, entered my text, and clicked the
'Post' button. The bottom of the screen displayed 'Posting topic...' then
'Your topic has been created' (screenshots <https://imgur.com/a/Gp22wDD>).
But the topic never appeared in the list of topics. Then, when I returned
to type a reply in *this* thread, a new message was displayed on-screen:

*Your message is taking a long time to process. If it does not show up
shortly, please try again.*

and clicked the 'Reload' link, but it simply reloaded this current page
(i.e. the '[ESLint] Test post' post I was editing).

Thoughts?

I'd prefer to post my question with a proper subject, so hopefully as many
people as possible might read it. But if necessary, I could simply try
posting my question in this topic.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Carl
