Hi all my friends, Thank you so much for your encouragement. After reading your emails I feel much more optimistic about finding a good job. I understand that It is not an easy task, and the most important thing is that I have to be patient in finding it and never feel discouraged. We are living on the first days of 2009. I hope that this year is my year with luckiness and success. I will continue to apply to new enterprises with new CV which will be rewritten to become more attractive and interesting. Surely, when getting a job I will notice you soon. Once again thank you for your support and shares. Warm regards Nguyen Thuy. ----- Original Message ----- From: Pham Minh Hue To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, December 30, 2008 7:02 AM Subject: [ESL Podcast] Re: what would you do to jump out of the failing feeling
Hi Ms. Thuy, Your topic is very interesting. I am sure that noone has not experienced failure. Henry Ford said, "Failure is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again". However, I don't think your situation is failure. Don't be dispirited. I experienced a long time of unemployment like you until I found my current job. So I understand your feeling at this time. I don't know how you are finding a job but I believe that you can get a good job, appropriated to your ability in next year (It is 30th, Dec 2008 now :D). In my experience, finding a job is as same as finding a partner ^^ Not all of men are suitable to you, but at least a man born for you :D (Just joking ^^) Therefore, don't worry when you have not yet had a job. It is only a simple thing that that job has not discovered :-) Ok, now I will tell you how to find out him soon :D Firstly, you need to ask yourself what type of job you really want? What are the criteria of that job? Then prepare yourself for these requirements. Secondly, I wonder that whether you showed up all of your strength to the employers or not? I recommend you to check and review your CV again. You can search some useful tips on the Internet to express yourself more attractively, more effectively. After that, if you are called to interview or solve some tests, please take time for making up, you will look more professional and stately. Another thing should be mentioned is a fact that the global economy is slowing down. Therefore, many enterprises have stopped their recruitment even dismissing many current employees. Take it easy! Everything will be fine, you will find a suitable job soon. "How do you feel if you keep failing and what would you do to jump out of the failing feeling?". I start this topic because recently I consistently taste the failure in getting a job. I graduated 4 months ago, and now I am still unemployed. Thank you and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
