Good evening, everyone. The Sabbath has just finished and, so, I'm back on the computer again!
I've developed my method over the past 25 years that I've been teaching; but it's very hard to describe in writing. I do a lot of substitution drills and dialogues. I try not to translate but use my acting ability to get the meaning across; and most of the time at least one of my students 'gets it!' And as they progress in their knowledge, I open up the conversation for them to speak more freely. I also use a lot of humor in my teaching! I have a class tomorrow morning to teach at 8:30 am! Please tell us more about your unique approaches to teaching your students in Israel,will you?;) Sometimes,I am afraid my English isn't good enough and I myself make a lot of mistakes which could have some negative impact on their English aquisition...:( As I told Jason C.,I only started to study English since I was 13 years old.;) I'm a learner just like all of you,aren't I?
