Chaya, I sincerely believe that discussing a variety of themes is the best way to spark people's willing to speak up and at the same time practice another language and consequently, learn, as Ed mentioned. Eckman, for me it's almost unimaginable waiting about 2 weeks to receive a reply for you message. It's not completely strange because when I was a child, my father used to send us letters from Japan to Brazil, when he went there, because the taxes to make a phone call was/is huge. Since the 'invention' of the internet and the email, sending messages is not a problem anymore. LOL Have a nice weekend!!
