I try using the windows' built-in calculator to verify what I thought. 9^9^9 = 1.5e+17 9^99 = 2.95e+94 9^(9^9) = 9^387420489 = ... The calculator gets screwed cause the result is too big to compute!!! If using the brackets is unacceptable...**begin to sob** I know life is made up of sobs and smiles.
