We Are New York is a nine episode series that portrays true to life stories of immigrants in New York City and helps them learn English and access city's resources. The program addresses issues ranging from health insurance, domestic violence to healthy eating and parental involvement in children's education by celebrating diversity in NYC and America. It is an effort to help people learn English in the comforts of their own homes and/or in classrooms and conversation groups.
