Dear Elham Briana Mikhail Andre Simone Claire Ed Pablo and all other
silent members,
(If you just joined us here, please make some noise by taking part in
our discussions,be it older topics or newer ones!:))

In reply to Q2 I posted on March 11th,"Have you ever met someone who
turned out to be very different to what you imagined
they were like at first?
In what ways were they different?"

Being an ESL/EFL teacher in Poland,I have been given plenty of
opportunities of meeting quite a few students from all walks of life
since about 3.5 years ago.

I have to say that they all surprise me in very intriguing and
enjoyable ways.

I have been told that I am the craziest, the best or the most
unpredictable or the most communicative teacher they've ever met.:P

While being asked "A risk you took,"one 39 year-old man student said
without hesitation that it was coming to my optional conversation
class because he couldn't use any Polish at all with me.;)
He said he was soon relieved after seeing my friendly and soothing
smile.

Another 31 year-old man student when answering to the question,"A
place you love" said it was being there with me in the classroom.;)

One 34 year-old man student even told me that he came for English, but
got double value of the tuition which his American-Italian joint
venture company paid for him because everytime after our class,he felt
so lighthearted and relaxed as if he came for a psychiatrist's
visit.;)

One 26 year-old woman student gave me a pet name:'Energetic Bomb'!
But that very first student I mentioned earlier told the whole class
it was an understatement...
He said it should be 'Extra Energetic Bomb!'
They all agreed that if I'm already crazy with a mug of strong black
coffee a day, they couldn't imagine how I would behave in class if I
combine it with the consumption of chocolate which is the love of most
Polish people!LOL

Wonderful Weekend, everyone around this magical globe!
