Hello Ed I read "The last lecture" too!
I agree with your comment it is not a sad book although the matter of story,
but I found it absolutely inspiring!
Is about coming true the dreams of your childhood and running your life
happily.
I read a translated version and not the original one.
Do you have any suggestion about an easy english reading?
In the past I tryed Animal's farm by Orwell, Harry potter and philosopher's
stone and some novels. I really reccommand those to upper-intermediate
learners who want to improve vocabulary.
