My story to share isn't anything grandiose,instead it's something we all expect from others which is kindness. My family and I went to Warsaw for three days during World Cup in July. On our way to check out from the hotel,I spotted an old lady having trouble pulling her suitcase out of the lift/elevator. Naturally,I gave her a hand,and heard her thanking me in French. I automatically replied to her in French as well thinking she must be French. She hesitated and replied to me:"Oh,I am Brazilian,but living in Germany.Where are you from?" I replied,"I am Taiwanese but living in Poland."pointing at my sons running around the hall. She then asked more questions about them and before she left the hotel with her group of travelling mates and got on their tour bus,she handed me a key chain with a Brazilian flag on one side saying it was for my sons,the two football fans...;-) We had a very brief encounter which lasted no longer than 3 minutes...but kindness lasts for a lifetime whenever I think of her smiling face and kind gesture!
