In Global English Forum,we started to have a GEFever for acrostic poems... Even someone like me who'd never written any poems before have written 6 at least so far and it's so much fun and so easy to do!;-)
For example, everyone wrote a poem of love for Valentine's Day and mine was done within a few minutes' time. H-Handed my arms to the one who captured my heart A-Anquished by the unknown path we were about to embark P-Patiently let him lead the way P-Problematic realities kick in now and then Y-Years gone by when sparks run dry (Now look horizontally: H-A-P-P-Y) V-Vanished are our dreams and desires A-Anticipating what future may bring L-Lending our heart to another chapter together E-Electrified by our long-waited dream-come-true of a home to call our own N-Nesting alongside are our two cutest curious cats T-Tension and passion spiced up this love and hate relationship of ours I-Irresistable are our intense and strong unity for 2 decades N-Never will I let go of this sometimes painstaking bondage sometimes sweet and comforting bond E-Ending awaiting us down the road (V-A-L-E-N-T-I-N-E) D-Dancing our way with joyous stride A-Along we go on this long and winding road Y-Yes is what I shall say if he utters those 3 words next time when our eyes meet and hearts intwined... (D-A-Y) Belated Happy Valentine's Day wishes from Pauline Good night and good luck! Anyone would like to join me to write an acrostic poem for fun?:-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ESL Podcast".
