We need a new dependency in the pom.xml

    <dependency>
    <groupId>com.ibm.icu</groupId>
    <artifactId>icu4j</artifactId>
    <version>3.4.4</version>
    </dependency>

See:
http://github.com/dpp/liftweb/blob/ce2a130984b3c816de76a0c1ab1aa8ada1e01c9d/pom.xml

Tried to get it to work but it kept on using old version. Maybe someone else
with more maven experience can fix it.

Betreff: RE: AW: Maven Build is broken

The Maven dependencies are controlled from the pom.xml file - however, icu4j is
not listed there, so it must be a dependency-of-a-dependency. The problem is
really with the Maven repository - jars for previous versions should not be
removed. The solution is a little tricky - we need to find out the dependency
chain from icu4j to one of the items in our pom.xml (perhaps running "mvn -e
compile" might help) - once we find out which of our dependencies is involved,
we may be able to up the version number on our side to try and solve the issue.

I'm at work right now, so I can't try this - I'll have a look this evening (8
hours' time) if no-one else solves it before then.

Cheers,
darren
