Is there some setting for ESS to behave as rterm.exe?
You could try telling ESS to use a specific version of rterm as the R process; put something like this in your init file: (setq-default inferior-R-program-name "C:/Program Files/R/R-4.4.2/bin/x64/Rterm.exe") (Adjust the path as necessary, of course.) kind regards Enrico > It would, of course, be desirable to eliminate the error, but I did not > succeed.
