when trying to update the freebsd port for 0.9.9, it seems Makefile now wants to install binaries with the build target as a prefix:
/usr/X11R6/bin/i386-portbld-freebsd5.0-ethereal /usr/X11R6/bin/i386-portbld-freebsd5.0-editcap /usr/X11R6/bin/i386-portbld-freebsd5.0-mergecap /usr/X11R6/bin/i386-portbld-freebsd5.0-tethereal /usr/X11R6/bin/i386-portbld-freebsd5.0-text2pcap /usr/X11R6/bin/i386-portbld-freebsd5.0-idl2eth is this really the desired behavior? i could just have the port make symlinks to keep things the same from the user perspective or i could fool around with passing --program-transform during configure time. i just wanted to make sure this was supposed to happen before i start changing the port to work around it. apologies for not poking around in the cvs logs first.. i have limited time to work on this. :( thanks, -- - bill fumerola / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / [EMAIL PROTECTED]
