[Ethereal-dev] 802.11 dissector for ethereal - future plans..

Hi Jouni,
I have just read your email with your 802.11g patch on ethereal-dev. My name is Johan Jorgensen and I am the original author of the 802.11 dissector for ethereal.

I am sending you this mail as I have plans to extend and possibly also rewrite parts of the 802.11 dissector. My plans are the following:

1. Break certain parts of the dissector up in to smaller pieces add_tagged_fields(...) and cousins
2. Add 802.11E support
3. Add 802.11I support

I have not yet been able to get hold of these drafts. Besides that, it is a "pet project" that I am undertaking in my spare time. I am wondering if you have had any ideas similar to mine, and if you are working on it. If you are maybe I can help out. If you are not onto this yet I would like to ask if I think you might have the time to review any ideas that I might have and perhaps comment on them?
