Surely that's a reason for leaving it turned on! (-: I agree that it's a hassle waiting for name resolution. I always have it turned off. A technical solution would be to implement some sort of asynchronous DNS lookups so you can start browsing the capture, but names would occur in the gtk/windows idle loop. Tim.
