I'd propose to use "File -> Export" as menu item, and then let the user pick an option from a list (radio button): selected frames, selected frame, selected data in frame (or something like that). You could even add an option having either the value "export to bytes in network-order" (default), "export as hex" or "export as (what we call the byte view)". | Putting this into an export submenu makes it more obvious, | that this is a special function compared to the normal "Save" | or "Save As" functions. Do you see XML output as a Save option or as an Export option?
