Hi Keith. Thanks for the bugreport. I have checked in a fix for the problem. The issue was a bug in the H450 dissector that used the wrong type of value and thus caused an assertion to be rised.
The fix will be in 0.9.17 or if you compile ethereal yourself you can grab the current CVS and get a fixed version that way. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keith French" Sent: Monday, November 17, 2003 6:34 AM Subject: Fw: [Ethereal-users] Ethereal 09-16 Problem Opening Traces > Ronnie, > This is the trace. > > Keith French > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ronnie Sahlberg" > Sent: Sunday, November 16, 2003 5:35 AM > Subject: Re: [Ethereal-users] Ethereal 09-16 Problem Opening Traces > > > > Ethereal should not crash. > > > > Can you provide an example capture with ethereal crashes so we can look at > > it and fix the bug? > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: Keith French > > Sent: Sunday, November 16, 2003 12:58 AM > > Subject: [Ethereal-users] Ethereal 09-16 Problem Opening Traces > > > > > > I have some traces that were taken with V09-11 and the H.323 plugin from > > www.voice2sniff.com.
