Hi! I installed Ethereal on my machine via Fink (should guarantee that all necessary libraries are at the right place). That seemed to work ok, Ethereal starts up (I start it as root, of course) but I still get no network interfaces in the drop down menues of the capture window.
I tried to enter the network interface manually (en0) with no success. An error message pops up, telling me that the interface is not found and this might be caused by permission problems. btw, tcpdump works on en0. Any suggstions? Thanks for your help!
