I have an Ethereal Capture File that is too big to load into Ethereal.
Is there a way to filter from the command line into a new file? i.e. filter all traffic from a certain address into a new file?
Sure. Use tethereal with the '-r' & '-w' options and any filter you like ('-f' & '-R' options for capture & display filters respectively).
