We use an application called Clearcase. This application needs to attach to a BDC located outside our office. This process can take a huge amount of time. When trying to analyse packets using Ethereal we found several occurences like :
SAMR Connect4 request, \\BDC_Name
DCERPC Fault: call_id: 1 ctx_id: 0 status: nca_op_rng_error
LSA LookupSIDs2 request
DCERPC Fault: call_id: 4 ctx_id: 0 status: nca_op_rng_error
These faulty requests are then followed by request using Connect and
LookUpSIDs2.I really don't know what these Connect4 and LooupSIDs2 protocols are and how we can avoid having these faulty request. Could you please give me more details ?
