I use to print the frame (or sometimes the complete capture) to a text file by using the the menu item "Mark Frame" and then "File/Print... Format: (x) Plain Text , Print to: (x) File, (x) Print detail, (x) Print hex data, (x) Suppress unmarked frames" and select a file name. This method is working, but is a bit annoying. A "Print summary" can also be very useful sometimes. I have been thinking about implementing a "File/Print Packet to File" that prints the current packet to a specific file with detailed data and hex data. The file name should be configurable from settings. However I have not looked on that part of the code yet to see how much work it is to implement this and there are some other things I'm working on right now.
