I'm new to Ethereal, but I absolutely love it so far. It's a truly amazing program. (Just had to say that.)
I'm a hardware designer and Python programmer working on a product which sends and receives gigabit UDP packets. To ease the difficulty of my debug, I would like to customize my copy of Ethereal so that it breaks down the UDP data and shows me what it means. I see that Ethereal already does this with hundreds of different protocols, but I didn't see where in the documentation it says how to add another one. Can anyone point me to some text or an example of how this is done? Thanks in advance!
