Hello, I�m trying to use Ethereal 0.10.0 to sniff the wireless frames(802.11) from my wireless network. I have a Proxim Orinoco Gold 802.11 b/g and I have the problem that Ethereal don�t pick these kind of frames. I have read that Ethereal picks 802.11 frames. I have two computers connected to an AP. One of them is a Laptop and the other is a PC, PC has a PCI card to comunnicate with the AP and Laptop has a Proxim Orinoco Gold 802.11 /g card. What I want is with my laptop, using Ethereal 0.10.0, sniff the 802.11 frames that there are between AP and PC. I have seen thay exists a library called LIBPCAP that works with Etehereal, I download the Winpcap 3.0 for Windows XP(is the OS that I use), but when I Start a capture, I capture nothing.
Somebody can help me? If someone has reached the solution please tell me, I�m desperate.
