Yes, sorry, I first wanted to know, if this is indeed the reason for your problem. Beckhoff did a strange thing in the redesign of the device: It coupled the latching of the input sync manager to the writing of the output sync manager, even if the outputs are not used (SDO 1C33:01 "Sync mode" is 34 by default, see slave documentation). Unfortunately this setting, even if changed by the master, is overwritten by the slave after going to SAFEOP. We discussed that with the slave developers and I think they realized, that this is a bad behaviour. I hope, this will be changed in the next slave firmware.
