Can you send a dmesg output? I only briefly experimented with the tty
demo - it worked for me, right out of the box.

Hello Matthieu,
EL6002 is present in the bus.
`ethercat slaves` shows that EL6002 is present.

Hello Parthasarathy,
do you have an EL6002 present in your bus? the demo scans all the
slaves and only create /dev/tty's when it finds suitable devices.

Hello,
I am trying out the tty example. I've enabled it with
--enable-tty option.
One of the steps in the tty/README file is to run the command
`rcethercat start`
There is no such command. I assume it should be
`/etc/init.d/ethercat start`
There is no error in other steps.
I notice that /dev/ttyEC0 is not created.
Can someone help.
Thanks and best regards
