I prefer not to include Oniguruma, at least for now.
It will work on FreeBSD because it is included in Ruby,
  which work on FreeBSD.
I understand it may not be convenient to download and install a
separated library,
but I believe in the future, we will have more and more external
libraries to depend on,
just like what GNUstep has now.

I choose OniGuruma over PCRE mainly because of the replacement function inside
and it supports many variations of regular expression syntax.
As for that many people don't know OniGuruma,
I believe it is a culture issue, which I prefer not to discuss heavily.
Many open source projects in east is not seen in the west. :D

  Have fun.
