What about also kind of non-bootable "live CD" that would not require reboot? I mean a CD with the environment only, which can be used directly from running system. Steps: - have system running (Windows/Linux) - insert CD - run "Etoile-environment.exe" on windows or "etoile-environment" on Linux - ask for disk cleanup before quitting This is of course a solution for the DE only, not for the OS version. Is that doable? If that is doable, then distributing Etoile based (demo) solutions would be as simple as putting the environment on a medium with an application. The medium can be either CD or an USB key.
