I been trying to install Etoile on FreeBSD, so far no compilation errors,
after did some work around with poppler.
but seem that Etoile is not working at all on FreebSD I got a .core,
has anyone get Etoile working on FreeBSD to share information

Hi, I installed Etoile tonight and i wanted to share my experience.
First, the root make didn't work, I got an error related to poppler. After
reading the mailing list, I used poppler svn and it didn't changed a thing.
So I proceed to build the beast module by module. the few things that
didn't
built included Workspace (which complained about missing UKNibOwner.h),
Hardware & LookAndBehavior. I compiled Terminal but launching it gave me no
window. The rest was working, the dock didn't behaved correctly all the
time, and I found the several entry in the menubar strange and I understand
that they are there for testing purpose.
I will closely follow this project and I already started blogging about it:
