This framework looks really interesting for various use in Étoilé
context. I'm specially thinking about DTP-like applications and
composite document builder/layouter.
It could be ported to GNUstep without too many hurdles perhaps by
relying on Opal (not yet released) which implements Quartz API on top
of Cairo.
Opal source code isn't yet available and I'm not sure it's currently
actively developed : <http://goliat.eik.bme.hu/~balaton/gnustep/opal/>
Anyway Opal seems to work for various common functions, we should may
be get in touch Balaton Zoltan who has written it and also the guys
of GCDrawKit.
