I already considered it. I don't know for Wikipedia, but GNA web space is really limited in term of features: no SQL, PHP, FTP and mail support. Hosting is rather cheap so buying a bit of bandwidth temporarily (1 € for 10 GB) or upgrading to a better hosting solution has a really low cost. It's only when you want to have a dedicated server it becomes expansive. Providing download like LiveCD directly from the website server would also make bandwidth cost problematic, but that's not the case currently.
