Hi Everyone, As the first step in the 0.4 release process, I am going to create a new stable branch this weekend. This branch will have frameworks and applications moved to it that:
1) Compile without warnings. 2) Pass all of their tests. 3) Have all APIs documented. 4) Actually work. After August, the additional requirement will be added: 5) All diffs going into stable must be reviewed by someone other than their author. If you have changes that want to go into stable after this date, please use svn merge to merge them from trunk to stable (nothing should go into stable without testing in trunk first) in your local checkout of stable and then submit them to http://review.etoileos.com for review. Hopefully I (or someone else) will write some scripts to automate this soon... Any commits to /stable should include a log message containing the URL of the review and saying which member of the core team ticked the 'ship it' box. Commits without this log message WILL be reverted. Shortly before the 0.4 release, the stable branch will undergo feature-freeze. No commits other than bug fixes will be allowed. Once I am satisfied that stable is actually stable, I will tag the 0.4 release.
