It might be interesting but I have some doubts about it. My experience with Apple Guide was not really positive. The main problem was that you were only allowed to follow a single track which was too restricting. e.g. if you wanted to tweak a setting in a way a bit different, or do some additional changes in the middle of the the guided process, it wouldn't work. iirc, Apple Guide would get lost or simply refuses it. If we try to do something like that, we should let the user follow multiple tracks or side-tracks in case it wants to. However I'm not sure it is worth the complexity, and the time which will have to be spent if you want a a very good guide that is not a toy. What Apple implemented looked more like a interesting prototype than something truly usable and useful. Ultimately I think it is a good idea, but I'm not sure it's really easy to do properly and not too time-consuming for a small team like us. Cheers, Quentin. _______________________________________________ Etoile-dev mailing list Etoile-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/etoile-dev
