Hi Tobias,

Looks like something is wrong with your installation of GNUstep-base. (at this 
point in the installation of GNUstep-gui, it runs one of the utilities that was 
installed with GNUstep-base. plmerge, I think.)

Try running "gdb plmerge" and then enter "run" at the prompt, and then when the 
program crashes, "bt"  to print a backtrace, and paste the output here.
