As Eric says, this is a problem with the GNUstep installation. The most common reason for this is a mismatch between the compiler and Objective-C runtime that you are using, and the one GNUstep's configure script thinks that you are using. Which compiler and runtime (and which version of each) are you using, and on which OS?
