I was quite negative about GitHub when this was originally posted, but: - They now have a working svn interface, so you can still use svn as your client of choice when using GitHub for hosting[1]. - Their code review thing is a bit basic, but it's a lot better than what we have now (i.e. nothing). - The bug tracker sucks, but not as badly as the gna.org one. - It is easy for people to fork / send patches. - GNA took almost a year to fix the annoying thing with cia.vc bounce mails on every commit and seems pretty unmaintained. - GitX is a really nice tool - I'd love to see a GNUstep port...
