I remember hearing that someone was planning on implementing a
Jabber/XMPP client for Etoile. I just came across this blog
posting, that I thought would be of interest to some, since it
seems to fit with the Etoile mentality (AFAICT).

Definitely a smart idea. David was working on a Jabber client, and I
know he was planning on abstracting out a library -- perhaps he was
already moving this direction.
