It's not much faster (on my box_TM). > It seems to be easy to port, either in AZDock or to an independent > application, > Most of the details has been worked out in Azalea or AZDock. > and is currently under my radar. I wrote a similar thing as a bundle that is loaded by my window manager running as a separate task. Works well enough. > To take advantage of x.org, remember to use skippy-xd, not skippy. This would require reconfiguring the X server configuration to take advantage of XRender, XComposite, XDamage and XFixes. It also isn't very fast (and at least on my box) didn't always work as expected -- Windows weren't always updated, windows were drawn in black (on a black background) and were only highlighted if you click around guessing where a window MIGHT be. That's counter-productive. -- Chris _______________________________________________ Etoile-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/etoile-discuss
