-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: RIPEMD160 Etoile is not a window manager, rather it is a collection of programs, among which is also a window manager. However, it is not Etoile's window manager which does the Mac-like menu bar at the top. It is done by an application (called MenuServer) and the menus are displayed by the individual applications themselves, so if a foreign application is started (something from Gnome or KDE), they will behave independently of etoile and display their menu bar in their application windows.
