Hi all,
I continued my experiments with Etoile. Logging in as a normal user
still does not work. It falls back to teh logn panel (dtlogin). I will
check taht out in a couple of minutes. But I can login as root uising
/usr/local/bin/etoile as a replacement for wmaker in th edtlogin
session file. EtoileMenuSever, AZDock and AZBackground are started as
expected.
However, I have a very weird problems with wrong/bad colors now (under
Azalea, Window Maker and JDS). Text in TypeWriter is drawn red. Wehn I
drag with the mouse over it it gets white, when I scroll around parts
are white others get blag or green arbitrarily. This problem remains
even if I do
defaults delete NSGlobalDomain GSAppKitUserBundles
so it has nothing to do with Etoile!? Any idea what happened to my
GNUstep system?
