This is part of the nib file compatibility work (I think). All of the controls in OS X have borders around them, which causes things to be the wrong size when nib files are imported into GNUstep. This is a problem, since more code is developed on OS X and ported to GNUstep than vice versa, and compatibility between the two makes it more important. Reverting this is not going to happen, although some compatibility flags might get added later. Old gorm files might need tweaking.
