Anything against including Libertine (OFL, see
http://linuxlibertine.sourceforge.net/Libertine-EN.html) and/or the
tex-gyre fonts (GFL, http://www.gust.org.pl/projects/e-foundry/tex-gyre/)? (I
think that tex-gyre would make latin
modern fonts, available from the same site, redundant, otherwise that might be
worth a thought, too.)

GFL: The TeX Gyre fonts are being released under the GUST Font License (GFL),
which is a free license, legally
equivalent to the LaTeX Project Public License (LPPL), version 1.3c or later.

These fonts are becoming more mainstream in the linux world AFAICT, and while
the same holds for very fine fonts like
the vista fonts and adobe minion/myriad (now included with "free" Acrobat
Reader), I doubt that these are really under
a free license in the proper sense.

Just a thought,
Andreas
