How's this? The Étoilé project aims to build a modern computing environment designed for the end of the desktop era and the start of the post- desktop era. We make heavy use of the dynamic features of Objective-C to make life easier for developers, for example by providing persistence and versioning to arbitrary objects transparently. The project builds on top of the services infrastructure from OpenStep to provide a flexible component-based environment allowing complex composite documents to be assembled from simple building blocks. >> -Why is your organization applying to participate in GSoC 2008?
