Thanks a lot ! Ubuntu is perfectly fine.

Would it be possible to run a web server on it?

Not yet. My plan was to use http://cruisecontrolrb.thoughtworks.com
I have tested it and it is easy to set up and works well. It is
possible to run remote builds with it. The main limitation is the web
app must run on the machine that drives the builds (local or remote).
For running the test suites I'll make some additions to etoile.make.
To make the test suite results more pretty and readable, we could hack
a simple script that parses the 'Failed/Passed' results and outputs a
html table where each row corresponds to a module.
What do you think?

Cheers,
Quentin.
