Tim has, what I think is, quite a good idea here. Sooooooooo.... I'll gladly take a newbie under my wing for however long it takes to make sure they feel comfortable with the way things work around here, and probably hook them up with a few shows, as well. What do you have to do?
1- Be a broadbander. I'm sorry, but dialup just isn't my speed. 2- Be nice. I have trouble responding to replies that just have "Give me a login" in the message. 3- Be totally clueless. I was totally clueless before too, and had some nice people help me out. 4- Be patient. It might take a few tries, but we'll get it. 5- Don't have any ascii images in your signature file. So - if you meet the criteria, please feel free to shoot me an email. It would help if you also had AOL Instant Messenger, so we can work through some things in real time, but it's not a requirement. Maybe more people will latch on to this idea, and we can be proactive about new members and the problems that may come along with them.
