ghost, et. al., i more respectfully agree. why is it that every day we get at least three ISO's of un-etree friendly bands? can't we put a filter in at the server level to send these messages into internet oblivion? just make a blanket statement in the introductory email (that goes to all new subscribers) that any message with a taper un-friendly band in it will be deleted. it should also be made clear that anyone trying to circumvent this feature by using characters to "mis-spell" the bands names (i.e. p1nk fl0yd) will also be banished.
i don't know much about databases, but it seems to me that something of this sort wouldn't be all that hard to put into effect - we can start with the most common ISO's, and expand. it could even be administered conversely, where only bands on a certain list *may* be discussed, and as bands' taping policies are proven, they can be added to the database. jmo (just my opinion) don WOB: 1 B&P for Addison Groove Project 12/28/00 (2 disc shn) to first responder. *-----Original Message----- *From: ghost [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] *Sent: Monday, February 18, 2002 2:31 PM *To: 'Borden, Robert A.'; [EMAIL PROTECTED] *Subject: [etrade] ISO: Idiot FREE Etree * * *If there is anyone around who actually has a brain and uses it, perhaps *you *can come up with the solution that will rid out mailing lists of all *this bootlegging. * * *tube.etree.org *l: etrade *pw: bullseye * * *ghost * *> -----Original Message----- *> From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] *> On Behalf Of Borden, Robert A. *> Sent: Monday, February 18, 2002 2:25 PM *> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] *> Subject: [etrade] ISO Pink Floyd *> *> *> I'm looking for the Pink Floyd show from County Stadium in *> Milwuakee on September 30, 1987 * *_______________________________________________ *etree.org etrade mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> *http://mail.etree.org/mailman/listinfo/etrade * *Need help?
