ghost, et. al.,

i more respectfully agree. why is it that every day we get at least three
ISO's of un-etree friendly bands? can't we put a filter in at the server
level to send these messages into internet oblivion? just make a blanket
statement in the introductory email (that goes to all new subscribers) that
any message with a taper un-friendly band in it will be deleted. it should
also be made clear that anyone trying to circumvent this feature by using
characters to "mis-spell" the bands names (i.e. p1nk fl0yd) will also be
banished.

i don't know much about databases, but it seems to me that something of this
sort wouldn't be all that hard to put into effect - we can start with the
most common ISO's, and expand. it could even be administered conversely,
where only bands on a certain list *may* be discussed, and as bands' taping
policies are proven, they can be added to the database.

jmo (just my opinion)
