I'm looking to limit the number of users on my Linux ftp server. I belive
the right config param to use is:
limit <class> <n> <times> <message_file>
however, I am unsure what value to use of <times>? The MAN page discribes
the following:
limit <class> <n> <times> <message_file>
Limit <class> to <n> users at times <times>, display-
ing <message_file> if user is denied access. Limit
check is performed at login time only. If multiple
"limit" commands can apply to the current session,
the first applicable one is used. Failing to define
a valid limit, or a limit of -1, is equivalent to
unlimited. <times> is in same format as the times in
the UUCP L.sys file.
...but, I don't have an L.sys file. At the present, I want to limit all
times.
Any suggestions?
PS I would also be grateful to see any example ftpaccess files that serve
SHN (so I can compare with mine)
Thanks for your time :) :) :)
