Hey Now,
I saw Garaj Mahal on Thursday in Northampton, MA...and was so impressed
that I went Friday (Somerville, MA) too !!!
Scott Gordon and I taped both shows (Scott's rig, for those of you who
keep score...Schoeps CMC64>Lunatec V2>Benchmark AD2K). I have the first
night shn'ed, and will have the second night done very soon.
These guys are really worth a listen. Jazzy, jammy, kinda Zappa-like,
IMHO (especially the tune called "Poodle Factory")
They seem to do a lot of shows in Cal and Illinois...this was only their
second time in MA...and hopefully not their last.
